Everyone Puts On Their Pants On The Same Way

I know you have heard this saying before and it’s nothing new but it’s also something we forget and have to remind ourselves when it comes to business. When  I first started out working on Business Beware it was so intimidating to approach some people in the business world. You ask yourself the questions: Will they think I’m an idiot? Will they even like what I have to say? Will they like my idea? Being younger too you’re somewhat nieve that anyone would ever turn you down because you just have this amazing idea and who wouldn’t love it? Well that’s a great attitude to have but I quickly saw that not everyone is always going to like your idea or what you have to say. Putting that aside though you have to realize that no matter what you can’t be afraid to approach anyone. Of course it’s intimidating but it’s just another challenge in the business world and you have to remember that that guy sitting in front of you (even though he may be the top dog to so many) he still puts on his pants the same way as you do. Now if he doesn’t that’s his own problem to worry about…

If there is any advice I can offer to anyone starting out is this:

• Don’t be afraid to approach others
• Don’t be afraid of criticism
• Don’t let others kill your dream just because THEY don’t like it
• Stick to your guns and gut
• Always go after something because you just never know what might come out of it
• Be you and be honest in every situation when dealing with people
• Constantly evolve and learn to bend with the wind

These may be simple but I have to remind myself sometimes to do these things too. There are so many amazing business owners and entrepreneurs out there that genuinely want to help you or offer advice in some way. Who knows you might end up working together in some way down the road that could lead to some amazing things. And if you still just can’t get over the fact that someone like Mr. Trump is standing there in front of you and you suddenly stutter, just imagine them in pink underwear and you will be good to go. I guarantee it.
