Endurance According to Ryan Reynolds

I’ve been a huge fan of Ryan Reynolds for a long time (for many reasons…) but I just came across this video today that made me like him even more. He talks about “endurance” and what motivates him to train on and off the screen.

In the video he talks about the NYC Marathon he ran a few years ago and how he wasn’t a true runner. He admits to running it slow but also the fact that he was able to run 26 miles.

I know how this feels since I have never been a “true runner” but have always been an athlete. It’s about taking it slow and building up to what you want to work towards. I have to take it slow while running long distances but I say the same thing as Ryan…”I’m running over 13 miles today…” Endurance comes from within. Think about a time where you had to react to something quickly and instantly you were stronger in that moment, almost as if you were a superhero for one second. Endurance and motivation lives within you, sometimes you just have to figure out what really motivates you to get moving.
