Courage is Being Yourself Everyday

Last night I was inspired and a few quotes came to mind and of course I had to immediately write them down before they literally left my brain. Quotes have been such an inspiration to me through life, sports and business. I think sometimes just one quote can change the way we think, make us smile, lift our spirits, motivate us and ultimately bring people together. Everyday I am amazed at some of the things that the world/society do or say that try and influence us to be someone we’re not. One of the toughest things I think anyone can … Continue reading

Dog Skin Allergies and Rashes: How Chase Was Cured

Mar

This is a different post from what I normally write about but it’s pretty close to my heart considering it’s about my pup Chase. For some reason it hit me that I need to share information that I’ve learned about dogs with allergies with any of you trying to figure out what the heck is wrong with your dog. It took me almost 2 years to figure out why Chase would itch so bad and literally lose hair when vets would just want to give him a steroid shot to numb it. I am in love with snowboarding ever since I tried it 5 years ago. The first day was brutal but everyday after that it was just one of those things you can’t put into words. Okay enough about making you jealous about my fabulous ski trip because I know you want to learn how to find amazing ski lift ticket deals. If you’re … Continue reading

I love quotes. This quote is actually from the “Iron Lady” trailer with Meryl Streep. When I heard it I couldn’t help but write it down because there’s such truth in it. Had to share so enjoy!

What I Learned Running A Half Marathon

For a long time I truly hated running, wait I actually despised it even in all the sports I did. Okay let me clarify that, I didn’t like LONG distance running but did enjoy the sprinting. Let’s put it this way that when my basketball coach in highschool told me I had to choose a fall sport to do to keep in shape I nixed soccer and cross country because they both involved ALOT of running. So I went with volleyball. I’ve had numerous friends that got involved with running marathons, triathlons and even some that did an IronMan. They … Continue reading

Photography Project – Outdoor Idea With Wooden Frame

Nov

16

I am constantly trying different things with my camera with shots, angles and even objects. After glancing at a few things on Pinterest I started to get some ideas to use a wooden frame in photo to see how it would turn out. I wanted an “outdoor look and feel” to the photo and rather than going to the beach I took the photo in the backyard with a wooden fence to somewhat match the frame (or theme shall we say). I took 2 different shots here. One that focuses more on the frame and the other on the person … Continue reading
